More PvP Tips

Before checking out this post, you might want to read my last post about PvP tips, a few posts down. Anyway, read on for some hopefully useful PvP tips to help you win battles.

1.) When being chased, don't look back. This will slow you down and may result in your doom! If you really need to know if the coast is clear, press F5 twice while still running. This will turn your camera backward but maintain your controls. If you press F5 again, you will go back to normal view.

2.) If you really need to take someone down, no matter what kind of armor they have, then use splash potions. First hit them with a splash potion of poison, and then thrown harming 2 potions at them. As long as you throw around 2-4 harming potions, this will be an instant kill, every time, no matter what. Just be sure you throw the potions far enough so that you won't take any damage yourself.

3.) Sometimes diamond isn't the best, as far as armor goes. If you wear diamond, you will become a target for all those PvPing pros. A lot of times, wearing iron will still keep you safe, but it will also not attract the attention of PvPers as much. Still though, diamond is best as far as protection goes, but it costs more - so, make your armor choice wisely.

4.) If a player logs off from the server while you were fighting or chasing him, then place lava where he logged off. This will kill him if he ever gets back on. If he had good armor, it might be best to also make cobble walls around the lava pool, so he can't get out. However, if you do this lava trap, then you probably won't recover their stuff once they die.

5.) If your server has the plugin McMMO, then you can totally use it to your advantage. McMMO is a plugin that allows you to increase your "skills" with various weapons, or with no weapon at all. In fact, with McMMO, sometimes your fist can be more effective than a sword! If your server has McMMO, then get started killing mobs with your fist. The more you do this, the higher your level will become. Once your level is high enough, you can do loads of damage, and sometimes if you hit an enemy holding an item, they will drop it. This is called disarm. So, use plugins like McMMO to your advantage whenever you can.
